Zero to 60 mph in about 2.8 seconds with a 270-miles-plus driving range and the option of up to 532 revving, roaring horsepower in Ludicrous mode.

Yes, there's plenty to like about the Tesla Model S. And owners of the vehicle can now get it for their kids, too. Seriously.

The Model S for Kids is a joint collaboration between the automaker and Radio Flyer, with the minivehicle being available for preorder for $499 and ready to ship in May.

The standard Model S for Kids is powered by a 140 Wh lithium-ion battery pack with the option to upgrade to a 190 Wh battery pack, vowing "50 percent more driving time," for an additional $50. As for performance — something that has been synonymous with Tesla's young history — the Model S for Kids can go between a parent-limited speed of 3 mph and top speed of 6 mph.

"Every Tesla Model S for Kids come equipped with high-end features to recreate the ultimate Tesla experience," the description for the mini vehicle reads on Radio Flyer and Tesla's combined site. "You choose the paint color, performance, accessories and personalization."

The Tesla Model S for Kids is intended for children ages three to eight, supporting a max weight capacity of 81 pounds and being available in three colors: red multicoat, deep blue metallic and midnight silver metallic. Tech Times especially loved the highlighted specs on the combined web site, including "working headlights," "spacious interior," "forward reverse," "sound system" and "frunk," referencing the minivehicle's front trunk.

As if this doesn't give Power Wheels enough of a reason to be shaking, Radio Flyer and Tesla are also making a bunch of accessories for the Tesla Model S for Kids available through its preorder page. Some of those accessories include a $15 upgrade option for silver turbine wheels — the vehicle comes standard with black turbine wheels — a $50 indoor car cover, $15 personalized license plate and $25 customized parking sign just to bring the overall driving experience to life that much more.

Now, imagine your kid pulling up in the neighborhood with this.
