It's not exactly the usual version of the Robot, but John McCain shows that he can still move to the beat.

At the Apollo in the Hamptons benefit, former Republican candidate for president, John McCain, got his groove on, creating an alternate version of the classic dance move, while he accompanied actor/singer Jamie Foxx. Watch below as the 77-year-old senator parties like it's 1959 again. 

And he wasn't the only politician to bust a move. Another cellphone video captured New Jersery governor and possible upcoming presidential candidate Chris Christie dancing on stage, though his moves were not quite as impressive as John McCain's.

This wasn't the first time a politician danced at the Hamptons benefit. Last year, Colin Powell danced on stage with Jamie Foxx.

The Apollo in the Hamptons benefit, which raises money for programs that will run at the famous theater in Harlem, was attended by a variety of musicians, actors, politicians and other celebrities.
