A hitter getting a pitch he likes, knowing it's a home run as soon as it leaves his bat, is one of the most electric sights in Major League Baseball.

MLB the Show 16 has captured that beautiful element of the game with something it calls its "No Doubt Home Run" swing, having customized it for 50 additional players for this year's title in the series, as confirmed by San Diego Studio's Ramone Russell during a new gameplay video released for the title on Wednesday.

In the gameplay footage, Russell uses a custom Seattle Mariners player to smash a home run over the left-field wall of Safeco Field, which, coincidentally, shows off another new feature of the game via its closed-roof stadiums.

As soon as the player hits the homer, he is seen gesturing with his hands, as if to say, "Keep going, keep going ... back, back, back."

It's part of how a "No Doubt Home Run" swing looks, as Russell informs viewers that the game has been adding 50 for each of the past two to three years and is currently boasting "200."

At the same time the hitter rejoices, the look of disgust hits, in this case, the St. Louis Cardinals pitcher, as he knows he gave up a long ball.

After finishing motioning, the Mariners hitter begins clapping his hands and trotting around the bases, making sure to deliver a handshake to the team's third base coach.

The game also does a great job capturing unique fan celebrations, which, in this gameplay video, shows one fan proudly showing his "Let's Go Mariners" sign, while another does a funny little dance right next to him.

Just in case gamers don't want to see sequences like that — as they only add time to the duration of the game — they can tap "X" on their controllers and jump right into gameplay with the next bat. Tapping "X" skips past the simulations and presentation screens, allowing gameplay to resume.

That should be a popular new feature for fans of the series, as it will allow them to save time and perhaps get that much more out of that particular sit-down gaming session.

No doubt about that. MLB the Show 16 is slated for a March 29 release.
