Good news if you preordered Samsung's Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, you can now redeem your free Gear VR headset.

How To Claim The Free Gear VR

Redeeming the free VR headset seems an easy process. All you need to do is head over to Samsung's promotions page and fill out the online claim form using the details found on the receipt.

Wait for the confirmation email that will inform that the claim is approved. Upon approval, it will take about four to six weeks for the VR headset to be delivered.

Those, however, who are still planning to buy either a Galaxy S7 or S7 edge should know that they still have the chance to snag a free Gear VR headset until March 18.

"From 2/23/16 through 3/18/16, purchase a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Samsung Galaxy S7 edge from a participating retailer and follow the instructions to submit Offer Claim Form and purchase receipt online," reads the fine print. "Offer valid with device installment plan, 2-year contract plan, lease or outright purchase at full retail price. Purchase requirement varies, please check with your Carrier."
