It can be hard for movie buffs to keep track of all the films they want to see and have seen. They might also have to check out various sites and blogs to get reviews for new a movie.

However, there is actually a website where users can do all of that in one centralized location — it's called Letterboxd, which can best be described as IMDb meets Facebook.

Letterboxd is the social network for all things movies, where users can follow their friends, keep a film diary, rate titles, write and read reviews and create and share lists.

Just like Leonardo DiCaprio's Oscar, Letterboxd has finally arrived for iOS.

The app brings the service of its website to iPhones, where users can take advantage of all of its main features. The user starts by creating an account, and is then prompted to rate or add titles to their watchlist.

The user can see a list of the popular movies for the week, popular reviews and popular lists. Simply tap on a title to bring up all of its information, including director, cast, synopsis, trailer, ratings and more.

When it comes to reviews, fellow users do a really good job giving their most honest opinions about the movie, and they are actually quite entertaining to read. There are plenty of reviews for new movies, like 10 Cloverfield Lane (go see it, it's really good) and Zootopia (it's more like Wreck-It Ralph than Inside Out), as well as reviews for pretty much any title you could possibly imagine. Community members take their reviews seriously, so even though they can be funny to read at times, they are much more reliable since there is less trolling.

Movie lists include things like "100 Great Movies Under 100 Minutes," "'Perfect' Movies" and "100 Best Films of the Current Decade," which can help the user find the next great title to watch. They can even create their own lists, such as the ranking of best Batman movies to get ready for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The app also lets users search for a new film based on if its opening soon, anticipated or highly rated. Users can then browse through the list of titles that appear as movie posters and choose to add it to their watchlist or rate it.

Besides being able to connect with other movie lovers and read reviews on the latest film you've been dying to see in theaters, Letterboxd, at its core, is just a really great way to keep track of all the movies you plan on seeing.

Letterboxd is available to download for iOS for free.
