The third part of "The Hunger Games" saga is coming to theaters this fall, and it's based on the third entry in Suzanne Collins' book trilogy, "Mockingjay." As fans know, the filmmakers decided to split the third book into two films in order to do justice to the novel's admittedly dense plot.

Today, Lionsgate has released new character posters from "Mockingjay -- Part One" that highlight a particular group of characters, most of whom are newcomers to the series. In the story, heroine Katniss Everdeen finds herself thrust into a reluctant leadership role within the resistance in District 13. As she engages in various activities, District 13's President Coin assigns a military detail to her, along with a journalist named Cressida and her crew. Coin wisely recognizes Katniss' status as a lightning rod for both sides of the conflict, so Cressida films everything Katniss does.

Below you'll find the new posters which highlight most of Katniss' team, including the journalist Cressida, played by "Game of Thrones" star Natalie Dormer. Katniss' best friend Gale (Liam Hemsworth) fights with the rebels as well, and joins Katniss' crew. There's also Cressida's assistant Messalla (Evan Ross); Cressida's camera crew Pollux (Elden Henson); and Castor (Wes Chatham), and the soldier appointed to protect Katniss, Boggs (Mahershala Ali).

Notice how the photos are composited in front of the Mockingjay symbol, framing each character with their own set of black wings.

"Mockingjay -- Part One" arrives in theaters on November 21, 2014.
