Star Wars fans have been teased for the official teaser trailer of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, which finally came out on April 7 with a first look in Good Morning America, and now LucasFilm released a dozen choice official stills for the spin-off plus a very classic teaser poster.

What can be more classic than the Star Wars style poster with only the tagline, title and release date written on simple black background. Take a look at the poster below.

Star Wars also created a new gallery in its official website containing stills from the teaser trailer. It may be nothing new but it is always nice to see a high-resolution official still and see what Easter eggs may lie in there somewhere. One of the stills included in the gallery is that of the black stormtrooper in the teaser to the teaser trailer.

Take a look at the stills below.

Of course, the very first photo has to be the very reason why Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was made in the first place.

The Empire and utter chaos comes next.

Of course, the main characters — who happen to be part of the ground forces of The Rebellion — about to leap into action.

Then here is this curious still of Jyn Erso wearing an Imperial pilot uniform towards the end of the trailer. We have the same question as the voiceover: What will you do, Erso? Did Erso rebel so much that she went rogue? Just kidding — but wouldn't that be an interesting twist?

Aside from teasers upon teasers that Rogue One: A Star Wars Story unveiled on April 7, the official website also unveiled what the packaging of Rogue One merchandise would look like on April 8. Take a look below.

It looks exciting but the question is: why are there only AT-ATs and black stormtroopers on the packaging?

Directed by Gareth Edwards, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is and will bring the fight to cinemas on Dec. 16.
