Samsung's Social Media Team played a number on Apple with a series of new online videos clearly aimed to poke fun of the products unveiled during the Cupertino company's live stream product event on Sept. 9.

Samsung was quick to grab every opportunity to rub in Apple's face the fact that they now have to catch up to other smartphone companies who have long entered the big screen market. In the past, Apple was adamant that big phones would never catch on because they thought mobile phones were meant to be held and operated in one hand.

On their twitter account, Samsung posted an image with the text, "Guess who surprised themselves and changed their minds," referring to Apple's past insistence that nobody would buy a big phone.

However, the new iPhones, which were unveiled on Tuesday, boasted a 4.7 inch screen for the iPhone 6, while the iPhone 6 Plus will have a 5.5 inch screen.

By comparison, one Samsung's most anticipated offerings in the phone/phablet market, the Galaxy Note 4, which was revealed last week along with the Galaxy Note 4 Edge, will have a 5.7 inch screen size. Both phones and are expected to be released in October.

Samsung uploaded a series of new videos, each only around 30 seconds long, to their Youtube and Twitter accounts less than 24 hours after Apple's live stream event. They featured two men in blue shirts mulling over their phones and exasperated over the technology that is only beginning to catch up.

The ads revived the company's tagline, "It doesn't take genius to see," to compare the features of the newly unveiled iPhone 6 and Apples' wearables to technnology that Samsung already had on the shelves.

Aside from a bigger screen, Samsung also focused on other features that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 offers that they claim surpass the iPhone in innovation, such as multi-windows, fast charging, and an S-pen for precision screen input.

Even the technical hiccups Apple experienced during the live stream event did not go unnoticed by Samsung and this too, was parodied in the viral videos.
