Tim Tebow is returning to our living rooms but away from the football field.

The former starting quarterback of the Denver Broncos will join the cast of “Good Morning America” as a contributor announced ABC.

Tebow already has experience on TV as a college football analyst for ESPN, and guest hosted “Good Morning America” this year during Super Bowl week.

Tebow will join the morning team as the lead correspondent for the show’s “Motivate Me Monday” series.

“The first-ever college sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy will help launch GMA's "Motivate Me Monday" series, featuring individuals and their amazing stories of triumph,” reads the ABC press release. “Tebow will appear in studio and live on location in towns across America with a wide-range of reports that motivate and inspire.”

Tebow is no stranger to overcoming monumental obstacles. His time as a starting quarterback in the NFL was a roller coaster of seeming ineptitude followed by miracle comebacks that would be considered preposterous in a children’s made-for-TV movie. Tebow was willing to openly speak about his faith which contributed to his reputation as a polarizing figure. He played with the Denver Broncos for two seasons (2010-2011), and the New York Jets for one season (2012).

“Good Morning America” airs on weekday mornings from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The program is anchored by Robin Roberts, George Stephanopoulous, and Lara Spencer. Amy Bobach serves as news anchor, and Ginger Zee is the chief meteorologist.

The Tebow experience for “Good Morning America” begins on Sept. 15.
