For those who are wondering, the Xbox 360 is not dead yet. Yes, folks, it is still alive, and Microsoft is in no mood to give it the boot just yet. The company recently announced a new bundle that consists of a blue Xbox 360 console with a 500-GB hard drive and the soon to be dead Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 or Call of Duty: Ghosts.

The new Xbox 360 is a special edition console, and it appears it will only be available at Wal-Mart. It is probably the best-looking Xbox 360 system we've seen in a long time, mainly because it doesn't come plastered with all sorts of decorations. We hope that Microsoft continues to release systems like this one in the future where the Xbox One is concerned.

Now, while we like the color and the overall look of the system, we're not so in love with the pricing. Come on, this is an almost 10-year old console, so it should be cheaper than $250, even with games packaged in. And speaking about games, these games are already in the bargain bin, and the most modern of the two titles is considered as being a terrible game within the community.

This isn't the only bundle Microsoft is selling for $250. The company has a bundle that consists of a black Xbox 360 with 4-GB hard drive space, a Kinect motion-control camera, and Forza Horizon. To top it off, Microsoft has also bundled Kinect Adventures and Kinect Sports. This particular bundle is only available at Target, and we're not certain if Microsoft will make room for other retailers.

For those folks who are interested in spending $250 on an old console instead of saving an additional $150 for an Xbox One, both bundles will be available come Sept. 16. Chances are this could last until the end of the holidays this year, and if it proves popular among consumers, it could travel straight into 2015.

We don't expect this to happen since the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One are tearing up the market, but anything is possible when it comes to video game consoles.
