Following the reveal of Apple Watch Hermès in April, Haute Écriture has reported that Coach is rumored to be teaming up with Apple to launch another luxury band collection in June.

According to its source, a sales associate from Coach said that the fashion company is going to offer at least eight leather bands in various colors, including white, black, red and brown. Several bands for the Apple wearable will feature unique charms, designs and stitched patterns that will add more beauty to the product.

The watch straps will be part of Coach's Spring and Summer 2016 collection and will match the latest design of Coach handbags. The source also indicated that Coach is set to release the bands in June 2016.

The Cupertino-based company previously teamed with Hermès to offer premium leather bands for the Apple Watch. The option for Hermès leather bands needed to be purchased with an Apple Watch until recently, but the companies finally announced the option to purchase the bands as standalone products as well.

If the leak is accurate, the Coach bands will be another luxury add-on option for the Apple Watch, which is possibly being opened up to support more third-party accessories.

The source said that the leather bands will be priced at $150, which is half of what an actual basic Apple Watch costs, as the gadget currently priced at $299. At this rumored price, the Coach bands would also be significantly less expensive than the Hermès bands, which start at $340 per strap. The included Hermès bundles were priced starting at $1,100 up to $1,500, depending on the style and options.

It is unconfirmed if Coach is working in partnership with Apple to release these bands or if they will be released as a third-party accessory. Neither Apple nor Coach made an official statement regarding the rumored watch bands.

Though unconfirmed, the fact that the bands resemble featured Coach Products in the spring and summer 2016 collection seem to support the validity of the leak. If true, official word from Coach or Apple should arrive before, or at the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference event in June.
