“The Simpsons” took over Hollywood with a weekend full of music from the show at the famous Hollywood Bowl.

The Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, conducted by Thomas Wilkins, performed music from the iconic television show on Friday, September 12; Saturday, September 13; and Sunday, September 14.

Conan O’Brien, who was a writer and producer for “The Simpsons” in its early years, was a special guest at the event. A highlight from Friday’s performance was when O’Brien performed “The Monorail Song” from the beloved 1993 episode he wrote titled “Marge vs. the Monorail.”

Dressed as the swindling monorail salesman, Lyle Lanley, O’Brien led the audience in singing “The Monorail Song.” Before the performance, however, he dedicated the song to the late Phil Hartman who, voiced Lanley in the actual episode.

Other special guests at the event included “Weird Al” Yankovic, Beverly D’Angelo, Jon Lovitz, Matt Groening, and regular “Simpsons” voice actors Nancy Cartwright, Yeardley Smith, and Hank Azaria, who served as the event’s host. Azaria even lends his voice-acting to "The Monorail Song" to capture the true spirit of the jingle's original version.
