An unannounced Samsung smartphone has been spotted on Zauba. The model number is SM-G880, and it's believed to be a Galaxy S7 Active variant, possibly the S7 Sport, which could be destined for Sprint.

Apple is currently experiencing daily leaks on its upcoming next-generation iPhones, the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus/Pro. The latest news on the devices is that they have reportedly just entered mass production at Foxconn and Pegatron, with a release expected in September. This also means iPhone fans should expect even more reports about the pair.

Samsung is also watching details of one of its unannounced smartphones make headlines ahead of its official unveiling. The Samsung Galaxy S7 Active leaked in late March, and it was said to be in testing by AT&T with the model number SM-G891A.

We recently reported that the first image of the Samsung Galaxy S7 Active just leaked, and as expected, it had AT&T's logo on the rear of the smartphone. We also questioned if the smartphone would be released on Sprint, since the carrier last offered the Galaxy S5 Sport in 2014 and reportedly passed on last year's Galaxy S6 Active. A new report possibly confirms that there will indeed be a Galaxy S7 Sport, and it will likely be offered by Sprint in the near future.

An unannounced Samsung smartphone was spotted on Zauba, an import site that has revealed details on many mobile devices before the manufacturer officially does. The handset is listed by its model number of SM-G880, and the value of the phone is about $479, which suggests this is a flagship smartphone and not a midrange or low-end smartphone.

If this is the Samsung Galaxy S7 Sport, it will likely have the same specs of the Galaxy S7 Active, which showed off its specs on GFXBench. The device will rock a 5.5-inch quad-HD display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, 12-megapixel rear camera and 5- megapixel front-facing camera, just like the Galaxy S7 edge.

The AT&T Samsung Galaxy S7 Active is expected to be announced in the coming weeks. We'll have to wait and see if this new device is the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S7 Sport, and we'll be sure to keep you posted.
