Paramount Pictures has revealed the name of the fifth entry in the Transformers movie franchise. It's called Transformers: The Last Knight and it's set to begin production next month.

The film studio revealed the name of the upcoming Transformers film in a post on Instagram. Embedded in the post is an animated clip that reveals the title and a sword, which ties into the title and tips the most basic details about the plot.

The Michael Bay movie is set to begin production on June 6 and is scheduled to premiere a year later, on June 23, 2017. One of The Last Knight's announced filming locations is Detroit, which prompted Jenell Leonard, commissioner of the Michigan Film & Digital Media Office, to tout the talent in the Michigan film industry back when the Motor City was first revealed as the first destination for the movie's production.

"Having one of the highest-profile film franchises created in Michigan is a major economic boost and a testament to the talent of the state's production community," Leonard said at the time. "The production and economic investment is now happening sooner rather than later, and obviously, the project is a certainty rather than merely a possibility."

Mark Wahlberg has already been pegged for the film's lead and rising actress Isabela Moner is expected to star alongside him, taking on the role of Izabella. Izabella is described as "a street-smart tomboy who grew up an orphan and was raised in foster care," before finding a friend in a small Transformer, according to The Wrap.

Moner, a Nickelodeon star, is credited for a role in Legends of the Hidden Temple: The Movie, which is in production now, and several other Nick productions such as 2014's 100 Things to Do Before High School.
