Overwatch is set to roll out right on schedule, and before it does, Blizzard published the last animated short called "Hero" of the four-episode series, featuring Soldier: 76 as the star of the show.

As one of May's hottest shooters to hit the gaming scene, it's a safe bet to assume that a lot of people are itching to get their hands on the official version, so without further ado, here's the release schedule from the developers:

This Season's Fourth And Last Overwatch Animated Short

Titled "Hero," the video showcases the brutal but kind-hearted hero Soldier: 76. Geared with a heavy pulse rifle and a tactical visor, he takes on a couple of bad guys and saves a little girl from certain doom in the clip.

When asked whether he was "one of those heroes" or not, he answers, "Not anymore." Interestingly enough, he was once part of the Overwatch team, but now he's more or less a vigilante.

"'Hero' follows the masked vigilante Soldier: 76 on a personal mission to Dorado where he's set to investigate the illegal activities of the Los Muertos gang — but an unexpected complication threatens to compromise his objective," Blizzard says.
