Some little-known musicians from Kryvyi-Rih in Ukraine have taken the internet by storm with an adorable little music video told on 14 different screens of various Apple products. Brunettes Shoot Blondes is the indie-rock band behind the song "Knock Knock."

The video was reportedly shot in real-time, and in one shot, with no post-editing, resulting the charming 2.5 minute music video that is taking the internet by storm.

The band could have gone the route of animating the story onto the screens in post-production. But instead, they turned to 2D and 3D studio, SYT-X, to animate the mostly black and white story of a man (a bunny apparently named Zayachy - the band's mascot) who doesn't want to be left alone on a Saturday night as he follows his love all around town in an attempt to catch her attention. They loaded the animation sequences into the Apple devices and pressed play at strategic moments in perfectly timed playback during the shoot.

What you don't see is probably the hours of late nights of animation, and choreographing the movement of the devices and camera just right to perfect the single continuous shot. Would love to see a making-of video of that!

The Director of Photography for the innovative video was Kirill Svetashov. According to the credits on their YouTube channel, the idea for the video came from the band themselves: Andrey Kovaliov, the lead vocalist and guitarist; Vladimir Levchenko on bass; and Roman Sobol on drums.

Not only is the video a great example of innovative storytelling, with a catchy song to boot, it's also a great promo for Apple, showcasing various products like iPhone, iPads, iPods, and MacBooks.

The animations even show-off some features of the Apple devices such as slide to unlock and navigate through screens, and parallax effect backgrounds.

Apple should pay Brunettes Shoot Blondes for the amazing free advertising!

Brunettes Shoot Blondes music is available on Sound Cloud, Spotify, Amazon, and iTunes. According to the band's official website, they are preparing for an upcoming European tour.

Just how popular is the band's new video? Just a little more than two weeks after it debuted on YouTube, it has already gained more than 3 million views.
