Although the release date for highly-anticipated video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt isn't until February of next year, the developer behind the title, CD Projekt Red, has been busy releasing details about the game, including a new set of gorgeous screenshots.

The developer released these screenshots today at the recent Igromir Expo in Russia.

The first screenshot shows off the RPG game's dialogue, with main character Geralt conversing with a soldier. The second screenshot shows Geralt surrounded by wolves. The third is a scenery shot showing off Skellige, one of the game's settings. The final screenshot shows Geralt facing one of the winged monsters in the game.

The Witcher 3 concludes the story of Geralt, a witcher, who is now on a personal mission while the world order around him changes. The game is set during a dark time when an army called The Wild Hunt is brutally invading the North, leaving blood and destruction in its wake. It is up to Geralt to stop this devastating assault.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which won 55 awards at E3 in 2013, contains over 100 hours of gameplay, which includes both a main story arc, as well as side quests. CD Projekt Red promises a world that is "35 times bigger than the previous games."

But don't expect DLC on this title. The developer is vocal about its opinion towards additional paid content for games.

"With DLC, it's small content. Like one-thousandth of the whole game," says CD Projekt Red's head of marketing and PR Michal Platkow-Gilewski. "Why should you charge for that? If it's small, give it for free."

Platkow-Gilewski also announced that The Witcher 3 will be DRM-free because CD Projekt Red doesn't like DRM to begin with.

"If you want to pirate, you'll find a way," Platkow-Gilewski says. "But if you're a committed gamer and are buying the game, why should we place a barrier on you?"

The game boasts at least 36 endings, based on decisions made during gameplay.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt comes out on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Feb. 24, 2015.
