One thing fans of the Sharknado franchise can expect from its movies are a lot of celebrity cameo appearances.

Syfy recently released a list of cameos from its upcoming Sharknado: The 4th Awakens, which lands on the network on July 31. That list includes everyone from Gary Busey to reality stars Duane Chapman, Cynthia Bailey, Kym Johnson, Lori Greiner, Robert Herjavec, Patti Stanger and Todd, Savannah and Grayson Chrisley, as well as TV host Carrie Keagan, In Living Color's T'Keyah Crystal Keymah and Baywatch's Gena Lee Nolin and Alexandra Paul.

The celebrity cameos are part of what makes the Sharknado movies so fun to watch: who will show up where? Sharknado has turned celebrity cameos into an art, and those cameos have played a large part in the franchise's success. Interestingly enough, though, the first movie featured few cameos, but once that film took off and became one of the most talked-about things on social media, celebrities lined up in front of Syfy's doors to become a part of the franchise.

Here are some of the more memorable celebrity cameos from the Sharknado movies.

Wil and Anne Wheaton: The nerd king and former Star Trek: The Next Generation actor and his wife appeared briefly on a plane during Sharknado 2, but their appearance didn't last long: their plane crashed and they didn't make it.

Kelly Osbourne: This former reality star was on the same plane in Sharknado 2 as the Wheatons. A shark flew through the cabin and took off her head. Ouch.

Robert Hays: Guess who was flying that plane in Sharknado 2? None other than this Airplane star.

Andy Dick: Dick showed up briefly in Sharknado 2 as a police officer, which most fans found fairly hilarious. The funniest part? He survived.

Sandy "Pepa" Denton: This half of the Salt-N-Pepa rap duo was just casually riding her bike down the street in Sharknado 2, when a shark fell from the sky and consumed her whole.

Jerry Springer: In Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, this famous talk show host tried to get a picture with a shark while playing tourist. Needless to say, it didn't go well.

Lou Ferrigno: The Incredible Hulk star wasn't so incredible in Sharknado 3: after stating his infamous "don't make me angry" line, he immediately got devoured.

Frankie Muniz: This Malcolm in the Middle star suffered one of the more grotesque shark-related deaths in Sharknado 3. Every one of his limbs got chewed off slowly, but he still managed to push the button to set off the bomb that saved everyone. What a hero.

George R.R. Martin: This author got a taste of what he often does to his characters in Sharknado 3 and lost his head to a shark, which is appropriate considering that's exactly what he did to poor Ned Stark.
