A lot of interesting things have been happening on the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice set ever since the film kicked off production in Detroit. However, this new piece of information could be huge, but only if it turns out to be true.

Amy Adams, the actress who has taken on the role of Lois Lane, was spotted on set wearing a jumpsuit and what appeared to be an engagement ring. Now, we have heard no reports of Adams being engaged to anyone, which brings us to the question, did Clark Kent pop the question?

Then again, it is highly possible the ring could be part of Lane's persona if she's doing a story undercover. Lane is a top reporter, and in the comics, she went undercover several times before, so it wouldn't be too farfetched to say this is the reason for the ring.

However, the suit she's wearing is something one would wear on a farm, which suggests Adams could be filming scenes on the Kent Farm. So, she's at the Kent Farm in a jumpsuit while wearing an engagement ring; this just screams, "I'm marrying Clark Kent!!!"

At the end of the day though, anything is possible where that ring is concerned, but we doubt she's marrying Clark Kent anytime soon. After all, they had only recently met, and Metropolis is still trying to recover from the effects of the World Engine and the battle between Superman and Zod, so it would be too soon for them to even think about tying the knot.

We're not familiar with Amy Adams's personal life as she has done a great job so far on keeping it out of the public's domain. However, if we were to come to a conclusion on what that ring is all about, we'd say she has recently been engaged to someone.

It's the best explanation we could come up with, and the most plausible considering the situation. We know a lot of fans would totally lose their heads if this turns out to be a Lois Lane and Clark Kent engagement ring, but it just doesn't make sense at this point.

Let's revisit that by the end of the Justice League movie where Darkseid is the villain.
