Sometimes, the best summer pastime is simply sitting on the couch with a snack and putting on a good movie to unwind to. When looking for a film to watch, HBO continues to be one of the first places to check out.

The premium cable network has a reputation for airing some of the most anticipated movies viewers put off seeing in theaters, and this month, it will add Oscar-nominated movies like Brooklyn and The Danish Girl to its lineup. HBO is also adding the drama In the Heart of the Sea starring Chris Hemsworth, which follows a New England vessel that comes in contact with a whale that leaves them in a fight for survival, as well as the animated film The Peanuts Movie starring Charlie Brown and Snoopy.

HBO is also known for its original programming, and viewers will be able to see new episodes of the crime series The Night Of, which is about a man who is charged with the murder of a woman he met the night before — he wakes up to find she has been stabbed to death beside him.

Make sure to also check out new episodes of Ballers, Vice Principals and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. Viewers can also stream many of these titles on HBO Go on their own time, in case they miss the original air dates.
