LG is expected to launch its new flagship LG V20 at a press event on Sept. 6. A new report from an alleged T-Mobile insider has revealed pricing, preorder and bonus details.

When LG launched its current flagship LG G5 in February, it chose to unveil the smartphone on the same day Samsung announced its Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge, a move which ended up overshadowing LG's latest handset. The Galaxy S7 edge in particular has become a huge hit for Samsung and much of its appeal stems from its unique curved edge display, which is not only pleasing to the eye but also allows for enhanced features exclusive to the device.

LG is about to launch a new flagship smartphone that will go head to head with Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge and will also put much of its focus on an enhanced screen. The company is expected to launch its follow up to last year's LG V10, which features a secondary ticker display. Users are able to access favorite apps, functions and notifications on a second screen that's visible even while the main display is off.

LG recently announced that it will also launch one of the first Android 7.0 Nougat smartphones when it takes the wraps off of the LG V20 at an event scheduled for Sept. 6 in San Francisco. A new report claims to reveal when customers will be able to preorder the smartphone, how much it will cost, possible release date and promotional bonuses early customers will receive.

A redditor who is supposedly a T-Mobile insider posted on Reddit that T-Mobile will begin taking preorders for the LG V20 on Sept. 14 and expects the official release date to be Sept. 23.

The source claims T-Mobile will price the LG V20 at $650 full price. T-Mobile will offer bonuses when preordering the smartphone, and the tipster noted these include, Bonus 1: "Extra battery and Enhanced Hand Grip" Bonus 2: "Memory Module Attachment" Bonus 3: (T-Mobile exclusive) Year of Hulu + 3 Vudu rentals."

It appears that LG will bring the LG G5's modular design to the LG V20, which will allow different accessories like a removable battery, camera attachment and audio player to attach to the bottom of the smartphone.

The LG V20 is expected to feature a 5.5 or 5.7-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD display, secondary ticker display, and run Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. It will reportedly be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB of RAM, include a dual-rear camera and front-facing camera.

We should begin to hear more details about the LG V20 leading up to its Sept. 6 event and once we do, we'll report right back to you.
