Marvel is slowly ramping up the hype train for its upcoming Netflix series, Marvel's Daredevil. The studio recently released the first official look of Matt Murdock in costume at a New York Comic-Con panel, and fans are going wild despite the missing details.

The Daredevil costume of Matt Murdock is nothing compared to what many fans are used to. For those with knowledge of what is going on here, it is clear that Marvel is running along the lines of the Frank Miller comic, "Man Without Fear." This is how Daredevil dressed in the earlier stages, but after a time, he eventually got into that awesome red costume.

We also understand that Marvel showed off a few minutes of the pilot episode, and according to the sources, it was great. It would appear as if Marvel is now ready to show the world its dark side, and less of the family oriented stuff that can be found in several of the studio's movies and Agents of SHIELD.

From what we are hearing, it would appear as if Marvel could add a little blood and gore here since the studio has a bit more room to do its thing due to Daredevil being on Netflix. If it were ABC or other Disney channels, it would have been very difficult for Marvel to make this show come as adult oriented as possible.

We're glad to see Daredevil being done in such a manner, a move that should make the TV show step ahead of the terrible Daredevil movie that had Ben Affleck as the leading man.

Furthermore, we're quite happy to see that Marvel has worked to get the correct people to guide this series in the right direction. Steven S. DeKnight, a man who is mainly known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Spartacus, has been brought in as the showrunner, so expect some interesting fight scenes, but no awkward nakedness.

Daredevil, the Man Without Fear, is scheduled to hit Netflix in the early sections of 2015, and from what we can tell, fans like ourselves are in for a treat that might never go stale.

Move over DC, Marvel is coming for the small screen crown.
