It should have come to no surprise that Apple would quickly sell out of the Jet Black models of the new iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, meaning that this color option would not make its debut in stores for the smartphone's Sept. 16 release.

However, those who were smart enough to preorder the 256 GB Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus were still told that they too would have to wait quite a bit of time before they received their order. Despite the fact that some were given shipping dates as early as the week of Sept. 19, many of these consumers have yet to have their credit cards charged or receive a tracking number to see that their smartphone is in fact on its way. These are the lucky ones.

Others who preordered the second they could on Sept. 9 received shipping estimates for October and even as far as November.

However, new reports reveal that those who did preorder the Jet Black iPhone 7 Plus could be getting their shipment delivered much sooner than predicted.

Customers headed over to Twitter and other forums to inform others that they have been given shipping notifications that their iPhone 7 Plus in Jet Black is on its way ahead of schedule.

For example, this following Apple customer was first told his device would arrive in November but has just been informed his order has been shipped and he should be getting it tomorrow.

Another iPhone user reported that Sprint informed him that his Jet Black iPhone 7 is confirmed and on its way via UPS 2nd Day Air delivery after first being told he would get it sometime during the first week of October. He already received his new iPhone on Friday.

Twitter users continued to use the platform on Monday to give other Apple customers hope that their devices are also on their way and could arrive before their predicted shipping dates.

Then again, there are plenty of other customers who voiced their frustrations as they continue to wait to get their tracking info.

Those who are interested in purchasing the Jet Black iPhone 7 now will still get November shipping dates.
