Best Buy is closing out the holiday season with a new smartphone deal. The retailer is offering a free 256 GB microSD card, a $249.99 value, when purchasing a Samsung Galaxy S7 or Galaxy S7 Edge on Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.

The retailer is offering a free 256 GB Samsung EVO+ microSDXC UHS-I Class 10 card, which it currently sells for $249.99, when purchasing either smartphone and activating it on Verizon, AT&T, or Sprint.

Samsung Galaxy S7 And S7 Edge Specs And Features

The Samsung Galaxy S7 includes a 5.1-inch 2,560 x 1,440 Quad HD Super AMOLED display, while the Galaxy S7 Edge sports a 5.5-inch curved edge display with the same resolution. The pair are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 GPU (graphics processing unit), and 4 GB of RAM. The handsets include 32 GB of internal storage and microSD slot, which comes in handy with the free 256 GB microSD card Best Buy is offering.

Samsung has packed in a 12-megapixel rear camera with OIS (optical image stabilization), ability to capture 4K video and 5-megapixel front facing camera for video chat and selfies. The smartphones run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box but can be upgraded to Android 7.0 Nougat via Samsung's Galaxy Beta Program, although the company is expected to release an Android 7.1.1 Nougat software update to the public in the near future.

The Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge both feature a premium metal and Gorilla Glass 4 design that's waterproof, dust-resistant and wireless charging capabilities built in. The Galaxy S7 includes a 3,000 mAh battery that will provide up to 22 hours of talk time and the Galaxy S7 Edge packs in a large 3,600 mAh battery that will provide up to 27 hours of talk time.
