In the age of smartphones and tablets, it's rare when a fight isn't captured on film. It's in our nature -- we love conflict. Whether it's two kids on the playground fighting over the rights to the jungle gym or two grown men fighting over something far less important (like Fantasy Football), it's in our nature to sit back and watch the events unfold, often with recording device in hand.

Unless it's two massive black bears fighting. That is seriously scary and you should probably get as far away as possible. But one person was brave enough to film just that when a bear street fight swept over Rockaway, New Jersey recently. You can watch the drawn out, six minute long brawl below. It's pretty intense.

The fight starts in a yard, with the bears taking a few breathers before once again lashing out at each other. Eventually their fight spills into the middle of the street, where one car sits perfectly still for several minutes watching the action unfold. Towards the end one bear seems to have pinned the other down before the two eventually make their way further down the street.

You can tell the person recording the video was more than a little scared -- the video footage shakes almost constantly, and it looks as if the cameraman took the video from inside the safety of a car or was hanging out of one. Either way, it's still terrifying. If a bear really wanted to it could break through a car window no problem, and bears have no problem running much faster than the average human. But that's what we have cars for! Thankfully the bears seemed to pay little attention to their surroundings and only seemed intent on beating on each other. Kind of like these kangaroos. Isn't the animal kingdom grand?
