Longing for a smartphone which is both affordable and contemporary? The wait it seems is over.

If rumors are to be believed, the successor of Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro, which was launched in 2016, is all to be released soon.

Samsung has already trademarked the name Galaxy Sky Pro which is rumored to be the carrier version of Samsung Galaxy J7 (2017). Now a trademark application has been spotted on United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) website. Incidentally, Samsung trademarked both the names in January.

According to the application, Samsung is seeking to trademark the name Galaxy J3 Luna Pro. Going by the trademarked name it is safe to assume that this device would likely be the successor of the Galaxy J3 Pro.

Earlier in January, a Samsung device sporting the model number SM-J327VL received Wi-Fi certification. The model number has J3 in its name and it can be assumed that the certification was for the recently-trademarked Galaxy J3 Luna Pro.

The Wi-Fi certification does not provide too many details but it can be seen as a sign of future release of a device.
