The hype over the upcoming release of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands must be so overwhelming even Ubisoft can't wait.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands has not come out yet but here is Ubisoft releasing the details for the game's future downloadable content. The DLC includes PvP updates, paid expansions, bonus mission packs, exclusive contents, and equipment and vehicle packs.

The much-anticipated open-world tactical shooter is on a roll recently, with 6.83 million players participating in its beta phases. The game is due for worldwide release on March 7 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Season Pass Holders Perks

Ubisoft made the big reveal in its latest Ghost Recon blog post. The company also released a trailer for the DLC. Various freebies and add-ons will be available post-launch. First, the paid ones.

Holders of a season pass (no price yet, but included in the $100 Gold Edition) will get one-week early access to both expansions. These expansions are Narco Road, where the player must go undercover within the cartel to earn their trust and gather intel to take them "from the inside;" and the other one is Fallen Ghosts, which will have your squad running for your lives after your chopper gets shot down.

The other Season Pass bonuses include access to:

• Unidad Conspiracy missions (also available free to beta testers)
The Peruvian Connections Pack
• Exclusive Bolivian Minibus
• Exclusive themed equipment (Katari 26 Rebels, Unida, Santa Blanca)
• Exclusive weapons (AK-47 with big magazine, Unidad LMG with red dot scope, Santa Blanca golden M1911)
• Permanent 5 percent XP boost perk
• Single-use two-hour XP boost (50 percent self, 25 percent teammate)
• 800 Ghost Recon credits

Freebies And Future Purchases

Players without a season sass will still get some piece of the action. The biggest prize is the PvP mode, which will come in the next few months. This mode lets you and your team of four ghosts battle another team. Based on the trailer, the mode can be an elimination-style and intel objective.

There will also be "Challenges" to be introduced as the season goes on, with each telling a story for players to follow. Some will be easy (solo play) while others may require full-blown task forces.

Beta phase users (Close and Open) will also get access to the Unidad Conspiracy mission packs. These missions will require you to take down a leader of the Unidad army faction.

Microtransactions of course will be available. Players can purchase weapons, attachments, costumes, vehicles, and other stuff in-game.
