Customized smartphone skin manufacturer dbrand has disclosed two collections of vinyl skins for the unreleased Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+.

The skins for the yet-to-be-announced Samsung handsets are priced affordably and will set consumers back by $9.95.

This is not the first time a handset has leaked online because of an accessory. Earlier in February, a case maker had listed the covers for the Galaxy S7's successor, offering a peek into the impending handset.

Case maker Urban Armor Gear (UAG) had shared images of two categories of cases dubbed the Plasma and Pathfinder for the Galaxy S8. However, unlike the skins from dbrand, the UAG cases are more premium and are priced at $44.95.

What You Can Expect

The Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ skins made by dbrand will be available in various materialistic finishes that include carbon fiber, leather, wooden, metallic, and also stone skins.

If one only wants to cover the back of the Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8+ then the price will be at $9.95. However, for a fully-covered phone that includes the front top and front bottom, then the price will be $16.50.

Users can also get a skin for the camera for $0.95 and the front bottom and top for $2.95 each.

dbrand has also tweeted about the launch of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ skins on its official Twitter account.

The case manufacturer warned that Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ will be prone to getting fingerprints. This is why the accessory maker is urging people to purchase the skins.

The accessory manufacturer even shared a picture of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on its website. However, the authenticity of the images is questionable. The leaked images show off a tall phone with a dual curved display and slick bezels. A fingerprint scanner on the back of the handset, just beside the primary camera is also visible in the picture.

dbrand is using these images of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ to customize the skins and offering the customers the options to choose from different combinations of colors for the two impending Samsung smartphones. By accessing the tools users will be able to understand how much area they can cover with the skins.

In the tweeted photos, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ looks almost similar, but they actually differ in screen size.

Preorder The Skins

Those who want to preorder the skins of the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ can do so now by visiting dbrand's website. Although, it would be foolhardy to purchase the skins before knowing the exact release date and the cost of the phones.

Samsung is expected to unveil Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ on March 29 and the smartphones are rumored to hit the shelves on April 28.

Accessory maker dbrand has also revealed two collections of phone skins for the impending Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones. Those interested can preorder the skins for under $10 now.
