Acura is driving its TLX sedans to a slightly different direction: the world of younger buyers.

This is why it launched its latest 2018 TLX, a refresh of the 2014 TLX with designs inspired by Acura Precision Concept. As a luxury brand of Honda, Acura aims to woo the youthful demographic by combining sporty looks, top-notch performance, and the latest internal electronics like Android Auto.

The 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec is available now for order online. The model will be featured in this year's New York International Auto Show on April 14-23.

2018 Acura TLX: Precision-Inspired

Acura announced the 2018 Acura TLX A-Spec via its official press release. According to Acura, the new sedan features an "aggressive and sporty look" it adapted from the 2016 Acura Precision Concept.

"We've really upped the ante in terms of styling, emotion and road presence, more effectively communicating the TLX's dynamic capabilities," said Jon Ikeda, Acura vice president and general manager.

The latest TLX comes in three variants: the standard variant, a V6 variant, and a TLX A-Spec variant.

The standard model is a 2.4-liter-powered beauty that boasts the signature diamond pentagon grille combined with a slick-looking bumper, hood, fenders, and patented Jewel Eye LED headlights.

The V6 model bumped up its internal electronics with features like trapezoidal fog lamps, a surround view camera system, and onboard wireless charging.
