For many, Throwback Thursday is a both a blessing and a curse. On one hand, it's a way to inject a little nostalgia into one's day: a picture from a few years ago could get that warm, fuzzy feeling going. On the other hand, most people have pretty embarrassing pasts: bad fashion sense and stupid mistakes are a part of everyone's histories, and it takes a lot of courage to own those moments.

One such mistake for those that lived through the '90s was the mullet. Easily the most redneck of any haircut, the mullet has only been successfully worn on the rarest of occasions, like in hockey and professional wrestling. For everyone else, the mullet is one of those moments that should be hidden from the world forever. As they say, business in the front, shame in the back.

Unless you're Guy Fieri, that is. Before he was known for his spiky blonde hair, it seems that the super-chef was rocking more of a down-home country style:

That right there is the official haircut of Flavor Town. Granted, that picture was taken back in 2000, when the haircut was slightly more acceptable, but - wow, that is a full-on mullet.

You know, upon closer inspection, that picture of Fieri is strangely familiar. If you look a bit closer, it almost seems like Fieri could be brothers with good ol' Mitch Williams, the "Wild Thing":

...and while Billy Ray Cyrus may have made the mullet huge, no man's mullet could ever compare to that of Kenny Powers' flowing locks:

Keep on livin', Guy.
