It's been a year now when 'Fast & Furious' star Paul Walker met a tragic car accident which left his family, friends, and millions of fans in disbelief. Walker was on the passenger seat of a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when the car lost control and hit a tree. Moments later, the car was engulfed in flames which eventually claimed the life of the actor. He was only 40 yrs. old.

Prior to the accident, Paul had attended a toy drive which is in line with his charity 'Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW).' It is a non-profit foundation with the mission to help in the mobilization of aid workers in times of natural disasters.

The company is now taken over by his brother Cody as its CEO.

"ROWW continues to be, to function, to help others even after our primary contributor, my brother, Paul Walker has passed," said Cody. "I know he would be so stoked to know that. ROWW changed his life, and he was so proud of it."

The ROWW foundation deployed a team to the Mayflower town in Arkansas in the aftermath of a destructive tornado in April. The foundation had also been part of the medical mission that provided help to victims of Typhoon Haiyan when it hit the Philippines on Nov. 8 of last year.

"Paul just radiated love and you can't fake that," said his father, Paul Walker III. "He had a really good heart. I thought, 'How did I deserve such a wonderful son?' I feel his presence every day. I miss talking to him a great deal. He had a good heart."

Paul's father also recalled how the actor admitted that being in the limelight isn't something that he really wanted. However, the actor believed that he can do a lot of good things with the money that he's making.

Michelle Rodriguez, Paul's co-star, remembers the late actor by sending out a tweet. Her message reads: "I love you Paul. Your living in the hearts of all who love you for sure. Sending mad love out to Heaven @SupportROWW."

Paul's untimely death happened while the actor was trying to finish the filming of the seventh installment of the 'Fast & Furious.' After he died, his brother Cody assumed his role in the movie and filmed the remaining scenes portraying his character. 'Furious 7' is slated for a release on Apr. 3, 2015 in the U.S.
