We knew it was going to be a big deal. Did anyone expect it to be this big?

Zefr, a company that tracks metrics for online videos, reports that the Star Wars: The Force Awakens teaser trailer has already been seen on YouTube over 63 million times. That's in just its first week of being online — and Zefr doesn't appear to track Apple Trailers, where the teaser first premiered. That puts it well ahead of the second-placed trailer of the year, for Jurassic World, which has been online longer. Avengers: Age of Ultron rounds out the top three.

At this pace, Zefr says that The Force Awakens teaser is well on its way to becoming the most-watched trailer of all time. Which it managed to do without a single member of the original trilogy cast anywhere in sight.

Imagine what will happen when the full-length trailer appears sometime next year.
