A new report claims that HTC is planning to release a Windows Phone 8.1 variant of its upcoming "Hima" smartphone and an image of the Hima's display has leaked and it's a 5.2-inch screen.

We've been keeping you up to date with the future plans of companies like Apple, Samsung, LG, and Motorola and what they are expected to unveil in 2015.  Several new details have just leaked in regards to HTC's upcoming 2015 flagship smartphone, the HTC Hima. A leaked image of what is reportedly its 5.2-inch display has made its way online and just like its predecessor, One M8, the smartphone will come in both an Android 5.0 Lollipop and Windows Phone 8.1 variants.

The first tip we can report is that the always-reliable Upleaks has posted a new message to his Twitter account which shows that HTC is planning to take a page out of its current flagship smartphone, the One M8, and create a Windows Phone 8.1 variant with the same excellent hardware, swapping out Android 5.0 Lollipop for Windows Phone 8.1. It also appears that the WP 8.1-based Hima will be offered by AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and Verizon in the U.S.

The HTC One Hima was said to include a 5-inch display, but now a new report claims the Hima will likely use a 5.2-inch panel. The HTC logo on the display is located right below the center of the display and appears smaller than the HTC logo found on the HTC One M8.

We should be hearing more and more about the HTC Hima in the coming days, as it appears that HTC has had trouble keeping the smartphone's specs, details, and now its display under wraps before its expected CES 2015 unveiling.

As always, we will keep you posted on any new HTC Hima details as they become available. What upcoming flagship smartphone do you plan on choosing in regards to HTC, Samsung, and others? Let us know in the comments.
