Every passing day thieves around the world are finding new ways to rob people of their hard earned cash. However, this particular thief does something that must have come out of a movie, because it is surreal.

Recently a store owner came face-to-face with a robber who took all his cash without him knowing. Interestingly enough, the robber took the cash right in front of the victim in such a way that anyone in that position should have known what was going down.

Unfortunately, 56-year-old Aftab Haider appears to have been brought under a mystical spell or hypnosis. No, we're not joking around here; Haider must have been under a spell of some sorts, as he only realized he was robbed after the thief made off with the cash.

Watching the video carefully, we realize how the thief used his hands to touch Aftab Haider in strange ways, while holding a conversation. Haider then appeared to come under a trance as he stood still while the thief went into his pocket. The robber then makes another move by performing similar touches, all the time uttering words from his mouth.

He then moved around Haider and made one last grab for the rest of the cash before taking his leave. The shop owner only realized what had occurred after the mysterious thief was already near the door, making his escape.

The robbery took place at Hops and Pops wine store in Highgate, north London. CCTV managed to catch the whole incident on camera.

A friend of Mr. Haider said the shop owner had no idea he was hypnotized.

"We had no idea Aziz had been hypnotized," says the friend. "When he told me what happened I just thought, how could he have just let someone hug him and start going through his pockets?

"He said he just suddenly realized the man had stolen from him and ran out of the shop to find him but he got away."

We have to say; we have never heard of anything like this before. Robbers going around using hypnosis on people is now a thing, and it only means that shop owners and folks on the street must be more vigilant, never to fall under this spell.
