The series may have ended years ago, but Entourage is still going strong. Sure, it's been a couple years, but the film adaptation of the hugely popular HBO series is well on its way. A comedy/drama hybrid about the excessive nature of Hollywood and the film industry seems appropriate in today's day and age - while the series may have been a little too bro-tastic for some people, that doesn't mean Entourage is any less relevant.

Warner Bros. has seen fit to release the film's first trailer, and it's quite a return to form:

Question: Who else wants to see that movie from the trailer's opening moments?

It's too early to tell, but it's looking like the Entourage movie has everything that fans of the original series could hope for: celebrity cameos, witty banter and scantily-clad women dominate the trailer. It certainly captures the original series' atmosphere, if nothing else...and there was only one instance of the word 'bro' in the trailer, which is surprisingly conservative for Entourage.

Considering its subject matter, it's ironic that Entourage is still being made. The movie was originally planned to be shot back in 2012, but script and casting troubles throughout 2013 severely hampered any progress and nearly got the production cancelled. It wasn't until October of last year that a deal was struck, and filming took place earlier this year. Warner Bros. even moved the film's release date forward by a week, almost as if they were trying to apologize for the film's long, troubled production cycle.

Either way, Entourage is almost here: the film is set to hit theaters on June 5, 2015.
