A leaked document revealed that Fortnite for the Nintendo Switch will be unveiled at the upcoming E3 2018, which will run from June 12 to June 14 in Los Angeles, California.

Nintendo previously revealed its E3 2018 plans, showing that the spotlight will on Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo Switch. However, if the leaked document is true, Fortnite might steal the show.

Fortnite For Nintendo Switch At E3 2018

Fortnite, which has overtaken PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds in the massively popular battle royale genre, made $296 million in April and is on track to reach revenues of $3.5 billion this year. The Nintendo Switch, meanwhile, is the fastest-selling console in U.S. history. A Fortnite release for the Nintendo Switch, therefore, has the potential to shake up the entire video game industry.

Fortnite on Nintendo Switch allegedly will soon become a reality. According to a leaked document posted on 4chan, the multiplayer game will be announced for the hybrid console at E3 2018.

The 4chan user who posted the E3 2018 document said that he got it from a friend who was making showroom displays for the upcoming event. Gamers would be understandably skeptical of leaks coming from 4chan, but according to Kotaku, there is reason to believe that Fortnite for Nintendo Switch is true.

A source familiar with the plans of Epic Games, who wished to remain anonymous, told Kotaku that Epic Games will indeed be bringing Fortnite to the Nintendo Switch. It is unclear, however, if the Fortnite port will include the free-to-play battle royale mode, the Save the World mode, or both. There is also no information on the Fortnite for Nintendo Switch release date.

New Nintendo Switch Games At E3 2018

Fortnite, however, is not the only game shown in the leaked document. Also included are Overwatch-like Paladins, Dragon Ball FighterZ, FIFA 19, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, and unannounced titles Overcooked 2, Killer Queen Black, and Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate.

Adding to the credibility of the leak, the Killer Queen account on Twitter recently replaced its logo and header with black images. There have also been rumors that Paladins will be jumping to the Nintendo Switch.

Super Smash Bros. may be the highlight of Nintendo's presence at E3 2018, but if the leaked document is real, Nintendo Switch owners will have a lot to look forward to at the upcoming event. The year is again shaping up to be a great one for the Nintendo Switch.
