Come 2015, gamers will have plenty of reasons to rejoice as the world's first-ever 21:9 gaming monitor with AMD FreeSync technology in tow is gearing up to take your breath away at the impending International CES 2015.

Hot on the heels of Samsung announcing the first-ever curved all-in-one PC that can double up as a TV, rival LG has revealed that it will showcase its latest 21:9 UltraWide monitor line-up at the trade show, which will be held in Las Vegas from Jan. 6 to Jan. 9.

The 34-inch UltraWide monitor from LG with the model number 34UM67 is the first UltraWide gaming monitor from the company - and in the world. Coupled with AMD's FreeSync technology, gamers are ensured a seamless and buttery smooth gaming experience sans any loss in frame rate. The FreeSync technology from AMD eradicates the "screen tearing" that happens when the graphics card and monitor are not in sync.

"AMD FreeSync technology is an innovative monitor technology, based on free and open industry standards, to eliminate the tearing and stuttering that has plagued PC gaming for 30 years," says Roy Taylor, corporate VP of ISV/IHV Partner Group, AMD.

This model from LG also boasts the UltraWide FOV or field of view, which basically lets gamers have the upper hand as it reveals hidden spots that were not visible on the older 16:9 monitors. Moreover, the Black Stabilizer feature on the monitor will brighten the dark scenes and aid in defining the "deep black areas" which may have enemies lurking around or hidden objects for a gamer to seek.

That's not all, gamers also benefit from the Dynamic Action Sync mode, which reduces the input lag and makes the gameplay real time. With plenty of games like World of Warcraft and Battlefield 4 supporting the 21:9 resolution, gamers will be able to have an immersive gaming experience.

LG is yet to disclose the price of the latest UltraWide monitor with AMD FreeSync technology. However, with the International CES 2015 knocking on the door, expect more details soon.
