The utilities of Xbox One and PlayStation 4 are not limited to playing hard core games. They also extend to accessing the World Wide Web, which includes the sleazy world of pornography.

However, what is surprising is not that people are using their gaming consoles to watch porn, but that there's disparity in the number of people watching porn on the two consoles.

According to the revelations made by SugarDVD also known as the "Netflix of Porn," nearly three times as many PlayStation 4 owners signed up for its accounts than Xbox One owners in Deember.

They company was not able to offer any reason for this disparity but it did provide a hypothesis.

"Some are arguing the Xbox One is more of a family-oriented console, which might be contributing to the lessened porn activity," SugarDVD spokesperson Nicole Stetter said.

SugarDVD CEO Jax Smith, however, thinks Xbox One should have been the preferred gaming console over PS4 to watch porn. "Simply put, the Xbox One is a gateway for porn of the future. The PS4 is pretty, but Xbox One allows for more seamless integration and a more interactive experience," he said.
