Google launched yesterday, its own gaming subscription service, Google Stadia. Along with the launch are 22 games in all, to play. The said games, including one of its most popular, Destiny 2: Collection, are a part of the Pro subscription. Earlier on, the tech giant announced that by the time of Stadia's launch, 12 games would also be launched along with it. But now, the company came out with an updated list, adding 10 more games available for the payers in time for the debut.

The announcement came out, courtesy of Phil Harrison, the Stadia boss who took the Twitter to share the latest update on the list. On his Twitter post, Harrison said, "Tonight, Google Stadia announced that its launch lineup for has risen to 22 games from the 12 announced last week." Essentially, the tech giant, based in Mountain View California, mentioned in its blog post that aside from the 22 games the new Google gaming platform already has, it is also getting 14 new games later this year.

More Stadia Games to Enjoy

Of the 14 new games, Google is launching later this year for Stadia; the industry leader has already 10 games on-board. As mentioned, the 12 games Google Stadia initially had on board included: Assassin's Creed Odyssey, Destiny 2: The Collection, GYLT, Just Dance 2020, Kine, Mortal Kombat 11, Red Dead Redemption 2, Thumper, Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, and SAMURAI SHODOWN. Then, in time for the launch, Google Stadia added 10 more exciting games to the list with the new titles such as Attack on Titan: Final Battle 2, Farming Simulator 2019, Final Fantasy XV, Football Manager 2020, Grid 2019, Metro Exodus, NBA 2K20, Rage 2, Trials Rising, and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

With all the new game titles given, it means that before the year ends, four more games will be waiting for the gamers to play. These include Borderlands 3, Darksiders Genesis, DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2, and Ghost Recon Breakpoint. On top of these games, Stadia is soon launching the Doom: Eternal, Gods & Monsters, Cyberpunk 2077, and WatchDogs: Legion. As for the locations where these new games will be available, gamers in these games now have all the reasons to be excited: Canada, Denmark, Belgium, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Italy, Netherlands, Spay, UK, Sweden, Spain, Germany and the United States Monthly subscription for the Stadia Pro in the U.S. costs approximately $9.99.

Promised Titles but Not Included in the Launch

Before the Google Stadia launch, according to arstechnica.com, a number of legacy games previously promised as "part of the Stadia 'launch window,'" are currently excluded from the list of 2019 Stadia releases of google. These include The Crew 2, Destroy All Humans, Doom (2016), The Elder Scrolls Online, Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid, Superhot, and Windjammers 2. Major gaming publishers EA and Capcom are excluded, too, from the said planned lineup for 2019, although both were included as participants in the "launch window" of Stadia.

Meanwhile, the other unreleased games were promised for this Google gaming platform have reportedly been delayed to 2020 launch. These include Baldur's Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, Doom Eternal, Get Packed (Stadia exclusive), and Orcs Must Die 3 (timed Stadia exclusive). Then, of the 26 titles planned for release for Stadia this year, horror game, Gylt by Tequila Works, is the lone game that won't be played on other gaming platforms simultaneously.
