Pokemon GO online battle is currently on pause. As announced via The Pokemon GO Team, the global competition between PoGo players is now re-scheduled to another date.

However, if you're already hyped up with competing against players around the world, don't worry! Pokemon GO previously mentioned the prizes that await for you once the GO Battle League is back, and it involves an electrifying Lucha Libre-themed Pikachu!

Pokemon GO Battle League was first scheduled on Tuesday, Jan. 28. However, The Pokemon GO Team recently announced that the said date would no longer take effect to "ensure a smooth feature launch and prevent server issues."

This means that the global competition between PoGo players around the world will be paused for a while. The company has not yet announced the official comeback of the very first GO Battle League, as of now. 

On the other hand, if the company aims to continue its scheduled Ultra League on Monday, Feb. 10. GO Battle League is expected to re-begin at the starting week of February.

Go battle league pre-season: rewards and other free stuff

While Pokemon GO still fixes the much-awaited global battle league, this might also be the perfect time to explain further what will happen to GO Battle League and which rare Pokemon is set to be seen roaming after the said event's launching. 

How to enter 'GO Battle' League?

Pokemon GO Trainers will be absolutely welcome to enter the Go Battle League. If you are a trainer, here's how you can join the global event.

If you wanted to exercise for a bit and spend no amount in entering the contest, players just have to walk five kilometers to unlock five online matches. Once done, you can go to another set to earn walking distance. Players can bank up to five kilometers to maximize your time on the field. 

If you're not willing to walk for a bit, players can also enter the competition by paying some PokeCoins. To do this, players just have to use the Battle Now feature on your app and pay PokeCoins, if you have a lot to spare. 

Pikachu libre and rare candies on 'GO Battle' League

For you to even be more excited about joining this sought-after global event of Pokemon GO, Niantic features one of the most exciting launchings of the electric-type Pokemon called Pikachu Libre that can be seen on the wild during the event. 

Pikachu Libre is recognized as the fastest playable Pokemon and has powerful combo abilities that can surely defeat your enemies in the game. 

Pokemon GO Team said that players joining the event will witness an exclusive debut of Pikachu Libre, making it too hard to be missed out. 

Not only that, but Go Battle League will also give out tons of rewards that are based on a player's rank, and battles won. This means that the more you win on a fight, the more Stardust can be yours in an instant!

As of now, though, we will have to wait for the new date of Go Battle League!
