Remember way back at E3 2019 when Square Enix said that Final Fantasy VII Remake would be shipped on two Blu-ray discs? Well, it wasn't kidding. Images of the game's Korean cowl have made it online, and the back of the Playstation CD box confirms that the longly awaited role-playing release could be at the least 100GB in size. Jeez.

Given that it's coming on discs, we expect the overall game to be huge. Each PS4 Blu-ray disc can keep up to 50 GB. Red Dead Redemption 2 also shipped with two drives-one being the data disc that you downloaded to your hard drive and the other being the play disc that you used even as you played the game. Final Fantasy VII Remake could share a comparable feature, requiring players to put in from one drive before playing the use of the other. RDR2 took up 99 GB for the bodily model and 149 GB for the virtual, so if this box artwork leak is correct, the digital model of Final Fantasy VII Remake could be even bigger.

There's no telling precisely how that translates over to the virtual model, even though other reviews from late last year put it at around 76 GB, which calls the 100GB report length for the physical version into question. The alleged leak got here from a now-deleted post on Reddit. A consumer claimed to have a snapshot of the Korean version's container art calibration sheet (seen in the header image above). It's unknown why the photo was deleted, however, there may be no more corroboration confirming that this is the game's reputable container art, so take it with a grain of salt. Square Enix has yet to confirm the question for the Final Fantasy VII Remake record size, whether or not you purchase on disc or get it digitally.

It's assumed that Final Fantasy VII Remake will be packed with high-quality cinematic cutscenes, which typically take loads of data space. On top of that, Square Enix has said on numerous activities that that is a "complete recreation" no matter being just the first installment on this new Final Fantasy VII series. Honestly, almost everyone is looking ahead for it to be a rather long experience.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is most effective the Midgar bankruptcy of the sport and leaves out the relaxation of the big overworld and additional cities and locations that the party sooner or later visits. Even so, Square Enix promised a complete-sized sport from this small portion of the sport alone, and if the leaked file sizes are any indication, that promise appears to be fulfilled.
