Everyone who's played any Resident Evil game has taken refuge inside the secure rooms to have a break from fears. One factor all of the games have in commonplace is an area to take a breath at the same time as you manage your gadgets, heal, and discern out what to do next.

But in the latest Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, Official Xbox Magazine (OXM) claimed that the big bully could now break into secure rooms. However, Capcom clarified that there would be room to breathe in "safe" designated safe rooms.

Not all save factors/typewriters are in safe rooms, which is wherein the confusion got here. The original report had Nemesis busting into an area with a computer, which the author mistook for a designated secure room. This reputedly was no longer the case.

OXM's claim circulated through Reddit and Twitter consumer Nibel. The Reddit thread has when you consider that been removed by moderators, but you could nevertheless get the gist of the new information below:

While players can cut off Mr. X's foreboding terror by going into a safe room, reports said this scenario wouldn't work for Nemesis. In this month's OXM's hands-on preview of the game, the Nemesis would barge in and say how'd you do with his explosive flamethrower. Players also needed to dodge past the Nemesis as he breaks into a room with a progress-saving typewriter.

Tweaktown also quoted Resident Evil 3 Peter Fabiano's statement, saying Nemesis can even smash through safe rooms to test the player's mettle.

"Resident Evil 3 doesn't have safe rooms because you're never actually safe from Nemesis," the report added.

Not all save points are safe rooms, says Capcom

Capcom, however, refuted the claims. It said the location was not a designated safe room. The publisher pointed out the clue by listening to the background music, as is traditional in the Resi franchise. Capcom added not all save points are in safe rooms.

The large horrific of Resident Evil 3 is relentless, and not like Mr. X can and could break down doorways in his pursuit of Jill. Thankfully, Capcom said certain areas are nonetheless off-limits to the big bully.

Capcom to release more official info on RE3 soon

OXM will have more confirmation from Capcom next week on just how significant a threat the Nemesis poses in Resident Evil 3. Jill's use of the Raccoon City subway will also be clarified, and more on just what iconic monsters we can expect to return from the original 1999 game.

Resident Evil 3 seems like it will supplement its predecessor Resident Evil 2 nicely, with an emphasis on exploring much more open areas, compared to smaller constrained sections before.

Players, however, won't need to wait much longer for a few Resident Evil 3 goodness as a loose demo could be released sometime shortly. The full game is ready to launch on Apr. 4. Don't forget to preorder from Amazon to play it on day one.
