The idea of having a vehicle powered by electricity has been around for a long time. But what Newron Motors did was something that hasn't been done before. Meet EV-1, a motorcycle made out of wood and is powered by none other than electricity.

Newron Motors debuted the idea and offered its prototype to the public. Upon doing and ending the said phase, people are clueless about whether Newron is still planning to release the electric vehicle model officially. It turns out that Newron did not disappoint its fans, and just this week, this started rolling out pre-orders.

Odd Yet Creative Look

EV-1 shows off its battery in a different way. The vehicle itself is built around the battery and puts it at the center. The designers of EV-1 also left out several parts of the battery to be exposed outside. It turns out that this exposure was part of their design idea.

Light and Agile

EV-1 shows how anyone in the motorcycle industry can be creative without breaking the vehicle's primary purpose. The EV-1 is packed light, and all materials used are quality and self-treated in order to suit the environment.

The agility of EV-1. may be the same as other motorcycles, but considering the materials that make up this equipment is ridiculous. A lot of motorcycle's materials and design is inspired by the motif of wood.

Having a wood exterior helps make the creation of Newron motors flow when it comes to the actual brainstorming and idea designs.

Having a lightweight vehicle would also mean that it can rest top speeds. Ironically, because of its materials, it is tough to make sure that everything is safe; that's why they have implemented a limit speed.

Car Acceleration and Battery

0 to 100 km/h is the standard speed achievable by the EV-1. The vehicle manufacturer, however, imposed a limit on the vehicle to 136 mph. For wooden vehicles, no one can use it all up within one day.

The battery is reported to be able to hold a fully charged state for only about 40 minutes. This ideal charging time is perfect for people who are always out on roads or highways.

If you ever choose to power up, the vehicle is only accepting 186 miles in the city, or about 136 miles on the highway because of how much registration is needed.

Newton's Companion Application

The android application is a vital tool to have, especially for people who have purchased a wooden electric car. You can quickly and casually check your remaining gas without exerting too much effort by just using your mobile application.

More and more features are continually being added to the application because of how many people are actually using it.

Sharing everything that has happened to your ride is now a lot easier. You can easily share your routes with any riders nearby. This is all thanks to Google Maps' more full availability; routing replies is now a lot faster and easier.

The wooden appeal of this new entry is entirely new in the market, and only a few people are interested. No matter how the product performs, it still made history by reaching a very high peak.
