The service Xbox Live has reportedly shut down at about 5:10 PM ET and although this was supposed to be the very thing to save gamers from boredom during the time of panic during this time of the coronavirus or Covid-19, gamers might just have to find other means to entertain themselves. The whole world has been looking for healthy and productive things to do during the practice of social distancing in hopes to fight boredom and distract people from the pandemic.

It is quite a necessity to avoid all unnecessary contact as the risk of infection is just too high wherever people go and no matter what people do. The safest bet by some people is to remain indoors and as much as they can especially when there is no need for going outside during this pandemic. Social distancing must be properly practiced for the safety of everyone around to fight against aggressive infection.

Microsoft's statement on the matter
Microsoft released a tweet explaining what was happening to people unaware but also announcing that they still have to find the root of the problem. The Xbox Live support has been offline since Sunday evening and there is still no definite timeline as to until when they will be unable to function. The heat of complains started at about 5 PM ET which was when everybody finally noticed the problem.

Microsoft has yet to release the solution to this problem and all although players may be tempted to fiddle around with random controls due to not being able to access Xbox Live, it may not be quite a wise decision as that might even cause more damage and even become a hindrance for players to enjoy playing once the Xbox Live comes back online.

Use other consoles
The best way to continue your gaming mode is to play other consoles and although you may have been looking forward to some games on the Xbox One or Xbox Live, this may be your best alternative so far if you are keen with settling for other games as of the moment. Xbox Live does have the capacity of allowing you to enjoy a great many deal of games, but this is not the only platform to do so.

Keep yourself notified
It would be a good idea to follow Xbox Live support on Twitter to get automatic notifications once the service is made available again to make sure you do not waste your time once it is back. Turn on the notifications from Twitter to get an instant announcement as to when you will be able to play your Xbox Live once more.
Watch videos and guides of the game you are playing
There is always room for improvement and now may be the perfect opportunity to learn a thing or two while on break and while waiting for the Xbox Live service to be available once more on the Xbox One.
