Snapchat is among one of the most popular apps of today, and as it has seen its way to the majority of people's phones and is even used by celebrities! Just recently, the multimedia app is experiencing technical difficulties and is currently not working on the phones of many users. 

The world is advised to stay at home amidst the fear of the coronavirus (COVID-19)--this means that citizens have to find fun and entertaining things to do at home to keep them from going out. Snapchat is one of the many apps which you can enjoy just about anywhere, which is why people stuck at home are complaining that Snapchat does not work because it could have saved them from a whole lot of boredom.

Twitter has always been used for voicing out pretty personal remarks as the limited character feature makes posts more personal and exclamatory. Snapchat users who have been frustrated about not being able to work the application have started ranting on Twitter, and the search for answers begins!

Twitter has always been one of the most popular platforms for people to express their concerns, even about other social media platforms. If you follow the specific hashtag "#snapchatdown," you will be able to see how most of the users react towards the sudden unavailability of the application.

There are quite a lot of tweets that express in a humorous manner how much the current users of this app were affected by the social media platform suddenly not being available. Others mixed the whole situation with a few personal meme-worthy remarks.

The untimely technical issue

The world is undergoing a crisis called the coronavirus, which has resulted in advising people to stay indoors and look for other things to do at home instead of going out. The technical issue happened just around the time when people were left at home with nothing to do!

There are a lot of applications that can keep people entertained even when inside the house, but Snapchat is among the most popular. The social media platform is quite a powerful tool as it encourages freedom expression through sharing personal comments, posting news, and other remarks out.  

So far, Snapchat has not yet addressed this matter. However, given an official statement as to what is going on with their platform. It seems its users will have to wait for further announcements as to what is going on, why it happened, and when Snapchat becomes available again.
