We've all been there--whenever something crashes to your computer when the USB stick doesn't have your official report or accidentally deleted an important file for school. Everyone has a story of accidentally deleting data or corrupted files, mostly on your phone, computer, laptop, or USB stick. Luckily, Windows 10 has a new tool that may help you.

Here's the newest way to retrieve those corrupted files

On Monday, June 29, Microsoft introduced a new tool that could help you retrieve any files, music, videos, or images you have that got recently deleted or corrupted. Thanks to its newest Windows File Recovery Tool command-line app.

The Verge reported that Microsoft has a new tool that promises to retrieve all your accidentally deleted or corrupted files on your device. It can go through local hard drives, USB drives, and even SD cards from cameras.

This means that Microsoft's new tool could retrieve any data from MP3 files, MP4 videos, PDF documents, JPEG images, and or typical Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents.

As long as the data have not been overwritten with the system or the computer virus, this app serves as the haven for lost documents and files, that we all get irritated about.

"For photos, documents, videos, and more, Windows File Recovery supports many file types to help ensure that your data is not permanently lost," said on Microsoft page. "Recovering from a camera or SD card? Try Signature mode, which expands beyond NTFS recovery and caters to your storage device needs. Let this app be your first choice for helping to find what you need from your hard drive, SSD (*limited by TRIM), USB drive, or memory cards."

Not working for cloud storage

If you're too hyped-up about the app, here's bad news. Unfortunately, if your documents or data are not saved on a hard drive and were saved on a cloud storage or network file shares app, the tool can't work.

The app is not supporting any of this programming software, so Microsoft has no control over these data.

Windows 10 mail gets compromised

Tech Times reported earlier today, June 29, about the several complaints with the Windows 10 mail app on most of its users. It turns out that Gmail and the said app are not working along together.

Several users claim that some of their emails are being sent or received and are not saving on the Windows 10 mail app. Even if users find the lost emails on their account, the same error continues, and it can no longer be found.

Maybe, this was Microsoft's solution for the problem, right?
