Huawei announced the release of HONOR X10 Max in China. The newly launched device has grabbed the attention of many, for it offers a more comprehensive screen that measures a large 7.09-inch fullHD+ LCD and is quite heavy. This Honor X10 Max will launch on July 2 as a recent addition to the Honor X10 series. Beforehand, there were already rumors as to the specifications and pricing details of the X10. But what surprises everyone is its huge display and a bigger battery.

The Design & Display

The Honor X10 Max has a quite identical design scheme as the Honor X10, which was announced back in May. The design includes a rectangular camera housing and a permacurve back. The device offers a traditional waterdrop display on the screen.

The device measures 174.46 x 84.91 x 8.3mm and weighs 227 grams. And with this measurement, it's like a phone and tablet at the same time, which is made out of glass and metal. Its bezels are thin and feature a flat display while the bottom bezel is thicker than the rest of them. Huawei has placed the rear camera module of X10 Max in the top-left corner, which hosts two cameras. This processor also is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 7nm processor, which is different from its predecessors.

The device screen measures around 7.09-inch IPS LCD with 1080p resolution, and its LCD panel supports 100% of DCI-P3 color gamut and HDR10. It offers you a vibrant display that will go to 780 nits and comes with an RGBW panel that would help you save battery energy. This panel also filters out the harmful Blue light (415-455nm) via the app.


The Specifications and Performance

Once purchased, a 5,000mAh battery is included in the package. Surprisingly, this device supports fast charging of 22.5W fast charging,5G connectivity (SA/NSA), and Bluetooth 5.1. A Type-C port will be placed at the bottom, and the NFC chip is included in the package.

The Honor X10 Max has a stunning 48-megapixel primary camera on the back, which is aided by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the other hand, the front camera has an 8-megapixel. The processor is said to be powered by the MediaTek MT6873 SoC, which was just launched earlier this year. This will come with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.

The Verdict

In terms of significant configuration, they pack the machine with the MediaTek Dimensity 800 5G processor. They base it on a 7nm process of technology. The Honor X10 Max is said to be 6+64GB version will cost 1899 yuan ($269), the 6+128GB version will cost 2099 yuan ($297), and the 8+128GB version will cost 2499 yuan ($354) in China tomorrow.
