Nuclear apocalypse may be one of the disastrous events that may put the world on its knees. Now, what will you do if this happens? Driving out to a shack in the woods, grabbing your go-bag, and then hiding under the floorboards eating canned goods through the valve may be the most straightforward thing to do, waiting for the nukes to drop while wearing your gas mask.

According to CNET's latest report, once you visit the first real nuclear bunker, you might want to upgrade your apocalypse plan. You might want to add a postapocalyptic rock-climbing wall or underground swimming pool to your list. The report confirmed that the Survival Condo is the world's most high-tech bunker currently.

Built from a former Atlas Missile silo, the engineers turned this into a luxury condominium complex that offers the world's powerful and rich people a chance to buy into the ultimate life insurance, a nuclear apocalypse mega-bunker that offers the perfect combination of style and shelter.

"Our objective when first approaching this project was to leave no stone unturned, and to ensure that every detail, from safety, feature and function, to style, comfort, and luxury...every aspect of this endeavor had to be just right," wrote the Survival Condo on its official website.

"The fact is, you can find other solutions for "survival living". Though none of the options today offer the peace of mind that comes with our state-of-the-art technologies, combined with the comfort and luxury that is offered through our Survival Condo ownership opportunity," added Survival Condo.

What does it look like, and how much does it cost?

A lot of hallmarks of a standard fallout shelter can be found in the Survival Condo. It's is built underground; 200 miles or 322 kilometers from Kansas City, and 200 feet or 61 meters underground in the middle of rural Kansas. A nine-foot-thick reinforced concrete wall retrofits the Survival Condo, designed to survive 12-kiloton nuclear warheads dropping half a mile away to powerful tornadoes.

However, the report suggests not to go to this place even if the proverbial hits the fan, forcing you to go somewhere else. The nuclear apocalypse mega-bunker is guarded 24 hours a day, making it impossible to slip through.

Also, before an individual goes to this bunker, they'll need to provide a huge amount of cash. The report stated that the starting cost for a unit in this mega-bunker is $1 million, and an additional $2,500 per month in dues to cover your living expenses such as water, internet, electricity, and all the tinned eggs you could imagine.

The bunker has 15 floors that descend 200 feet below the ground. On the upper level, communal recreation facilities, a wide dome set into the hill houses, and the main entry can be seen. The following three floors include the food store (complete with aquaculture setup and full hydroponics), mechanical facilities, and medical facilities. The classroom, library, bar, cinema, and work out room can be found in the final four floors. Here's a video that reveals other details of the mega-bunker.
