Controversial YouTube personality Jeffree Star is yet again in the middle of another controversy or "drama" as the YouTube community calls it, after fellow YouTube beauty guru Tati Westbrook uploaded a video saying Star and best friend Shane Dawson manipulated her into dragging James Charles in what is known as the "Dramaggedon."

The Start of Dramaggedon 3.0

In a report by Teen Vogue, Westbrook said that she did not make the videos about her vitamins, but instead, she made it a result "of all the poisonous lies fed to me by Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star."

As the drama continues, people have begun digging into Star and Dawson's past, who both did questionable things, including racism and pedophilia.

Both personalities have addressed these issues a few times in the past, but they kept coming back with new videos and issues adding each time.

Dawson's videos pretending to masturbate to a poster of the then-11-year-old Willow Smith went viral, getting the attention of her mother, Jada Pinkett-Smith, well as her brother, Jaden Smith.

The celebrities called out Dawson via Twitter, but the latter hasn't acknowledged the issue yet.

However, he soon uploaded an apology video on his YouTube channel that focused on his past actions regarding racism and blackface.

Morphe Puts Jeffree Star Brushes on Sale

With the ongoing controversy surrounding Star, Morphe, a giant cosmetics retailer who often worked with Star and his company Jeffree Star Cosmetics, has issued an official announcement that they are dropping the YouTube personality and will no longer be working with him.

Morphe, specifically Morphe Brushes, shared the announcement via their official Twitter account last week, July 11.

According to MTV News, the Jeffree Star Brush Collection, which was initially offered at $127, was only $37 and was instantly sold out, while the Jeffree Star Eye Brush Collection, which retails for $116, was sold at $32 after the discount.

Fans believe the sale was intentional, especially as the company also pulled out all the Jeffree Star x Shane Dawson collaboration--mainly the Conspiracy palette that the duo worked on last year, accompanied by a series of documentaries that were published on Dawson's YouTube channel.

No Answer From Star

After the announcement made by Morphe, Jeffree Star Cosmetics has replied via a statement published on their official Instagram account.

"We are shocked and extremely saddened by our former retail partner Morphe Brushes on parting ways with our brand and Jeffree," the statement read.

The move also comes after Westbrook said on her video that she heard Star is a co-owner of Morphe, which the company has denied.

"Jeffree Star has no ownership in Morphe. He's not an investor. He's not a co-owner," a spokesperson for the company confirmed.

Besides the statement by his brand, Star has not commented on any of the issues as of writing and has been keeping a low profile ever since the issues erupted, but many assume that the problem is mostly being played out behind the scenes and that lawyers are involved, especially as Westbrook has threatened to take legal action.
