Ceb (Sébastien Debs) is considered as the creator of Dota's most powerful team, OG. He started his professional Dota 2 career in 2011, which is the same year that the international game has grabbed the spotlight.

Ceb's first official team was Shakira, who finished 4th place at Dreamhack Winner. His team's surprising win led the Western Wolves to pick up their roster. He was known as the player who has a "commanding voice" as he is not afraid to speak up his mind and tell his opinion. His character trait revealed that he is the leader type player.

However, back in 2011, team shuffling is very common in Dota 2. Ceb left the team in 2012 and joined Mortal Teamwork before the start of "The International Dota 2 Championship" or TI2. His new roster was able to perform very well, allowing them to be qualified for the main event.

Between 2011 and 2015, Ceb was able to play in 13 different teams during that era, which he could not play very well. However, he was able to join the former TI2 winner called Alliance. But, his career faced troubles after they failed to qualify for the biggest tournament of the year.

However, years later, OG took Ceb as their analyst at the Shanghai major and then hired him as their professional head coach. OG started to get wins after wins, with Ceb leading them to many victories. In the TI8, OG had to face the defending champion, PSG LGD. With the efficient leadership of Ceb, OG overcame the most powerful in the past TI tournaments, replacing PSG as the number one Dota professional team.

Why Ceb returned to professional Dota 2

Ceb made a surprising comeback to his former team, OG. To answer his fans' questions, he released a video elaborating on why he decided to play Dota 2. According to AFK Gaming's report, Ceb said that he was not happy about the other teams, and added they could beat OG-- this is why he was motivated again to join the roster.

"I think I just overthought a lot of things because the drive is still there. For some reason, I have this fire that I can't extinguish. Nothing extinguishes it," Ceb said.

"It is kind of scary. There is always something that I look at and think that this is it. First, it was winning TI once. Then it was that nobody ever won it back to back," the professional coach added.

He also explained that he ran out of motivation during the DPC season, which is why he retired first. He also noted while they're playing in the Paris Major's playoffs, the excitement he usually felt during a tournament was no longer there. He said that it was a very tiring day for him, making him question everything he was doing. Check his full statement below.
